CERES Fair Food team faces
The Washups

Each week at Fair Food we read The Washups; a report that shows us how many orders went out successfully (most of them) and how many had something that wasn’t right (there’s always a few).

At our weekly Customer Experience meeting we use The Washups to focus on the things that need working on.

Also in The Washups is a section called “Positive Feedback” recording the things customers have liked during the week.

I copied out and shared a section I was reading through the other week that made me smile and feel proud of the people who make Fair Food the place it is…

–        Thank you so much for the lovely flower surprise! Our cat really loved them too 🙂

–        Just wanted to say thanks for having a great tropical range of fruit – the Papaya, Pomegranate and Pineapple have been delicious and flavourful! We’re going to try the Persimmon as well – hoping they’ll be just as great.

–        Thanks for this very generous response. It’s been no inconvenience at all. We are loving our CERES goods, as always.

–        “Thanks for getting back to me and the driver was awesome and brought the groceries up for me!”

–        It’s a positive that I can query something with you and know that I’ll get a meaningful response. As I’ve said before, I love being a part of the CERES community.

–        Many thanks for that, Kelly, and not to worry … It’s obvious you all go above and beyond the call of duty to look after customers (and I do mean it!).

–        I think the celery we got last week was a prize winner! I reckon it weighs 3kg!

–        “Thank you for the wonderful flowers and the card this week. You are a fabulous organisation and we are so happy to support you through our continued custom for these many years. Thanks for everything!”

An everyday part of delivering groceries is fixing the things that inevitably go wrong – crops don’t always come in on time, produce isn’t always perfect, packers and drivers sometimes make mistakes.

As on online service it’s one of the few times we get to connect with each other human to human.

So if something’s not quite right with your Fair Food order email or call us, it’s not just an opportunity to make things right, it’s an opportunity to make a connection.

backyard lemons
Bring le-mon

The yearly glut of lemons and limes is a blessing but also presents citrus custodians with a conundrum – what to do with our excess seasonal bounty that might otherwise rot on the ground or end up in landfill?

If you have too much citrus for your neighbours, friends, family, workmates or local produce swap – drop them at the Fair Food warehouse in Preston (we’re opposite Bunnings Northlands) and we’ll give them away to fellow Fair Food customers.

Email us at info@ceresfairfood.org.au to let us know you’re coming and we’ll make sure we’re around.

Have a great week

Chris
