If you’ve read these emails before you might have picked up on my fascination for the human microbiome – or as wikipedia puts it “the ecological community of commensal, symbiotic, and pathogenic micro-organisms that literally share our body space.”  Excited?  Not really?  Well here’s something to get you on the bacterial express train to healthy bowel flora central    – first the return of the Pat’s Veg range to our webshop including Cabbage and Carraway, Fennel Kraut, Kim Chi and my current favourite, Mixed Beetroot.  And second, tonight there’s a two part documentary called Life on Us on SBS One 8.30pm, which is all about the human microbiome.
