The CERES Market and Organic Store: Where it’s OK to LOVE your Fruit and VEG

The CERES Market and Store play a vital role in the local food community. Each week, Wednesdays and Saturday (9am to 1pm), in all weather, the CERES outdoor market is open for business and packed with happy punters. We sell the best local organic produce harvested from our own market gardens and other small sustainable growers from all around Melbourne.

Live music, artisan bread and pastries, a fair trade coffee stall and chooks running amok with the kids, all in a beautiful setting – shopping at CERES market is a gentle, fun experience, not another boring chore.

Set alongside the CERES Market is the CERES Organic Store. Passionate about supporting more environmentally sustainable forms of food production, we give customers the opportunity to get back to the roots and seeds of the foods they eat. We stock a wide variety of organic, biodynamic and fair trade groceries, sourced as locally as possible.Popular items include biodynamic milk, local Victorian honeys, the famous CERES eggs- collected daily from our beautiful Isa Brown chooks, CERES’ own Seven Stars preserves and dips, and a large range of non toxic beauty and cleaning products.

What we get really excited about though, is our huge range of bulk goods.Buying in bulk helps you reduce wasteful packaging and save money. You can buy almost anything in bulk -  rice, pasta, grains, flours, legumes, olive oils, cereals, household cleaning products and much more.
